PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character input device with which the desired description can be provided through a little input operation even in the case of Chinese character (KANJI) having a lot of homonyms. SOLUTION: After a KANJI mixed character string is inputted from an input part 2, while referring to a KANJI/KANA mixture converting dictionary 5b, converting processing is performed by a KANJI/KANA mixture converting processing part 6b, the converted result corresponding to the section of the inputted KANJI mixed character string excepting for KANJI is extracted from the converted result provided by a partial converting processing part 6c by a 2nd conversion instructing part 2b, and that extracted converted result corresponding to the section excepting for KANJI is outputted to an output part 3. |
