<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the existential check of one's own car easy enough to those of opposite cars and pedestrians, etc., at the time of passing through an intersection or the like by making a vehicle stop-time control means control the lighting of headlights into a larger dimming rate than the specified dimming rate at a time when a direction indicator is operated. SOLUTION: A vehicle stop-time dimming control means 71 widens the conducting range of a pulse driving signal being outputted from a pulse conducting range control means 72 and it controls the lighting of headlights 8 into a larger dimming rate than the specified dimming rate wherever it detects fact that a direction indicator is operated by a direction indicator operation detecting means 5 in time of vehicle stoppage. Supporting the direction indicator is operated, the vehicle stop-time dimming control means 71 of a control means 7 is so judged that a vehicle is in standby for the passage of those of opposite cars and pedestrians due to a left-turn or right-turn, therefore the headlights 8 are controlled into 40 to 80% of the dimming rate smaller than the specified dimming rate. Thus, an existential check from the opposite cars and pedestrians in time of the left-turn of right-turn is made to be easy enough.</p> |
