PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a high-quality color image and to obtain excellent transfer property of an image to an image receiving sheet by controlling the thermal conductivity of a base which constitutes a support to a specified range. SOLUTION: As for the base, a material having low thermal conductivity shows excellent heat insulation and prevents diffusion of heat for the purpose to develop a function to increase ablation. Therefore, a material having <=0.2W/mK thermal conductivity at 300K (27 deg.C) is used. To increase the effect to prevent diffusion of heat, a material having <=0.15W/mK thermal conductivity is preferable. To suppress thermal conductivity and to increase the heat insulation effect, a material containing gas such as air, namely, a material having low density is preferably used. To increase the heat insulation effect, the density of the base is <=2.0g/cm<3> , more preferably <=1.5g/cm<3> . As for examples of the base, a high quality paper, resin-coated paper, normal paper or foamed plastic sheet such as polyprene sheet can be used. |
