<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dry compressed gas efficiently and to regenerate a drying agent promptly and efficiently by using part of compressed gas after drying as a gas to be passed through the used drying agent and heating it previously by the compression heat of a compressor. SOLUTION: Gas compressed by a compressor 1 is dried by being passed through a drying agent 3, part 5 of the dried compressed gas is passed through the used drying agent 7, water is absorbed, the compressed gas which absorbed the water is cooled by cooling liquid 8, and condensed water 9 is obtained. After that, part 5 of the gas is again mixed with drying compressed gas 2. Compressed gas is dried in this way, but gas 5 which is passed through the used drying agent 7 is part of compressed gas 4 which was already dried and heated previously by the compression heat of a compressor 1. Therefore, compressed gas is dried efficiently, additional energy is not required, and the drying agent is regenerated rapidly and efficiently.</p> |
