PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording paper having high ink absorbability and improvising the stickiness immediately after the printing of an obtained image. SOLUTION: This ink jet recording paper is one having a hydrophilic binder layer containing a hydrophilic polymer with an average mol.wt. of 20,000 to 500,000 having an alkaline oxide group as a repeating unit and gelatin and a protective layer and a hydrophilic binder layer containing amino group deactivated gelatin is provided on the side near to a support as compared with the protective layer. |
