PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily produce the bilingual sentences through the retrieval in its on language by storing the bilingual example sentences of two languages into a database, displaying the bilingual example sentences having a prescribed relation with a retrieval request given in its on language, and also translating automatically a new example sentence written in the other language and registering its translated sentence. SOLUTION: A bilingual example sentence database 101 stores the bilingual example sentences of the 1st and 2nd languages. When a retrieval request sentence written in the 1st language is inputted via a retrieval request sentence input part 102, a retrieval part 103 retrieves the bilingual example sentences having a prescribed relation with the retrieval request sentence out of the database 101. Then a display part 118 shows the bilingual example sentences retrieved by the part 103. When a new example sentence of the 2nd language is inputted, its translated sentence of the 1st language is automatically produced based on the input sentence. A register part 104 registers the translated sentence in the database 101 as a bilingual example sentence. Therefore, it's not required for a user to manually translate the 1st language. |
