<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve joining work of a head body comprising a plurality of shell parts and joint strength thereof by joining a circumferential end part of a notched part formed at a heel side end part of a crown surface side shell part on the circumferential end part of a protruded part formed at an intermediate part of a hosel member together. SOLUTION: A hosel member 4 into which a shaft member is inserted to be held is separately inserted and joined into an opening part bored at a heel side end part 2 as shaft mounting base part of a head body 1. A protruded part 6 formed on the hosel member 4 takes a circular arc form in plane while sticking having a part gradually increasing downward in the longitudinal direction thereof and the periphery part 6a is so formed to be separated from the surface of a bar-shaped body 5. On the other hand, a circular arc-shaped notched part 15 is formed at a heel side end part 12a of a crown surface side shell part 12 of the head body 1 corresponding to the protruded pattern of the protruded part 6 and a circumferential rim end 15a of the notched part 15 is joined together on the circumferential rim end 6a of the protruded part 6.</p> |
