<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the deformation of cylinder bores. SOLUTION: A work process for fastening intake air manifold to an internal combustion engine of two cylinder rows is set as follows. (1) A cylinder head is provisionally fixed to a cylinder block with 1.0kgf (9.8Nm) tightening torque (a∼d). (2) An intake air manifold is provisionally fixed to a cylinder head with 1.6±0.1kgfm (15.7±0.98Nm) tightening torque (e∼g). (3) The tightening torque of the intake air manifold bolt is released down to 0kgfm (0Nm) (h). (4) The cylinder head is fixed to the cylinder block with 3.0kgfm±60 deg. (29.5Nm+60 deg.) tightening torque (i∼j). (5) The intake air manifold is fixed to the cylinder head with 0.9±0.1kgfm (8.8±0.98Nm) tightening torque (k∼m).</p> |
