PRODUCTION OF MOLDED PRODUCT HAVING WOODY FEELING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a molded product having a touch and a grain pattern very close to a natural wood. SOLUTION: This molded product is composed of a blend of a pellet A obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. of a vinyl chloride-based resin having 500-1,000 polymerization degree with 10-45 pts.wt. of wood flour and a foaming agent and having 150-160 deg.C melt-beginning temperature with a pellet B obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. of a vinyl chloride-based resin having a polymerization degree of 100-500 larger than the vinyl chloride-based resin used in the pellet A with 10-45 pts.wt. of wood flour, a foaming agent and a pigment. Then, 50-99wt.% of the pellet A is blended with 50-1wt.% of the pellet B having a melt-beginning temperature of 5-20 deg.C higher than the pellet A, thus the blended material is subjected to extrusion foam processing to obtain the objective molded product having 0.7-1 specific gravity and woody feeling.
