POLYGON SCANNER AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polygon scanner from which deformation by the distortion of a polygon mirror at the time of high-speed rotation is reduced and to provide the manufacture method. SOLUTION: This polygon scanner scans light by the rotation of a rotating body 101 provided with the polygon mirror 102 in a columnar shape provided with plural reflection surfaces for reflecting the light and upper and lower surfaces and a flange part for attaching the polygon mirror 102. In this case, one of the polygon mirror 102 and the flange part is provided with a through- hole, then the other one is provided with a projection to be inserted to the through-hole and the upper surface or lower surface of the polygon mirror 102 and the flange part are fixed in a close contact state by an adhesive material 104 filled in the through-hole.
