PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a line type liquid jet head in which fluctuation in the volume to be jetted due to the effect of back crosstalk caused by driving order is eliminated. SOLUTION: The liquid jet head comprises a grooved member 50 having a plurality of liquid jet ports, a plurality of grooves 14a forming first liquid channels 14 communicated directly with the jet port and a recess 15a defining a first common liquid chamber 15 for supplying liquid while communicating with the plurality of grooves 14a, a plurality of element boards 1 arranged along the arranging direction of the jet port 18 of the grooved member 50, and a partition wall 30 disposed between the element boards 1 and the grooved member 50 while forming a part of the wall of second liquid channels 16a corresponding to respective heating elements 16 and provided with a plurality of movable members 31 being displaced to the first liquid channel 14 side by a pressure based on the generation of a bubble at a position facing the heating element 16.
