PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smooth a slide of a slidingly movable surface of a metallic plate of a plate shape, and prevent seizure (gall) by forming plural recesses on the slidingly movable surface side of a metallic plate main body formed in a plate shape. SOLUTION: A wear plate 1 is composed of cast iron or copper alloy, and recesses 4 are formed in a plurality at random on one surface (a slidingly movable surface) 3 of a plate main body 2 formed in a plate shape. A shape of these recesses 4 is formed in a circular shape whose diameter is 10mmϕ, and a recess part is formed in a spherical surface shape. It is suitable when a depth of the recesses 4 formed on the slidingly movable surface 3 of the plate main body 2 is formed in 0.5mm to 3.0mm (optimally, 0.5mm to 1.5mm). The contact area of the slidingly movable surface 3 of this plate main body 2 is the sum total of parts except the recesses 4 formed on the slidingly movable surface 3 of the plate main body 2, and since slidingly moving resistance becomes small as the contact ares becomes small, a slide becomes excellent.
