PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil tank inside oil quantity monitoring device which detects leakage of oil to the outside from a hydraulic elevator working oil passage so as to stop an UP operation of an elevator. SOLUTION: When a car 10 approaches a destination floor while an UP operation of the car 10 is carried out, a landing switch 11 is brought into contact with a landing switch cam in the destination floor, and a position signal of the destination floor is transmitted to a control panel 12 via a cable 18 from the landing switch 11. If oil 2 flows outward from a working oil passage for the oil 2 during this UP operation, a photosensor reflection part 15a inside an oil tank 1 is positioned on an oil level lower than an oil level of the oil 2 of the destination floor in the normal case. A photosensor 15 measures a distance from an oil tank lid 1a to an actual oil level of the oil 2 so as to transmit a signal of its measurement value to the control board 12 via a cable 17. The control panel 12 computes an actual oil quantity on the basis of this signal so as to compare it with a previously stored oil quantity in the case of landing on the destination floor, and if oil leakage is determined, a pump 5 is also stopped via a motor 4. In addition, a flow rate control valve is closed. |
