PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a facsimile equipment capable of automatically saving toner at the time of printing by calculating the black rate of a one page part based on image information from a transmission side or calculating the average of a black rate from the number of accumulated and received sheets so as to control the suppression of toner with this average number. SOLUTION: This facsimile equipment executes toner suppressing operation at a toner suppressing circuit 7 based on a black rate obtained by a black rate average calculation circuit 5 of a received document and the arithmetic result at a black rate arithmetic circuit 3 in addition to an instruction signal from a toner suppression instruction setting circuit 6. This equipment is furthermore provided with a data reception circuit 1, a received document storing circuit 2 and a number of received document sheets storing circuit 4. Received data received by the reception circuit 1 is stored as a received document by the storing circuit 2 and sent to the arithmetic circuit 3. The circuit 3 executes prescribed arithmetic from this received data and the black rate average value calculated by the circuit 5 and controls the circuit 7. |
