<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manhole joint structure capable of execution in a short time, and improvement in the cut-off property and the settlement resistance. SOLUTION: A rubber ring 18 is mounted on a connection hole 14 in a manhole wall 12 without using any joining material such as mortar. A sleeve 28 is inserted in a hole of the rubber ring 18. The sleeve 28 has the inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of a vinyl chloride pipe 16 and the pipe length larger than the thickness of the manhole wall 12. The vinyl chloride pipe 16 is connected to the sleeve 28 by a rubber joint 30. When the external force in the axial direction of the pipe is applied to the piping, and the vinyl chloride pipe 16 is detached from the connection hole 14, the piping function can be kept by the sleeve 28. The overburden load in backfill is borne by the sleeve 28, and not applied to the vinyl chloride pipe 16, and the gradient of the vinyl chloride pipe 16 is kept constant.</p> |
