摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve graininess via a simple monolayer fluorescent substance structure allowing easy fabrication and having a small number of control factors, under the restraint of a drop in sensitivity or sharpness. SOLUTION: A fluorescent substance layer 2 is laid on a support body 1. Thereafter, a powder layer 3 formed out of approximately spherical grains having a mean grain size between 0.1 and 2μm, for example, inorganic compound grains such as approximately spherical silica, alumina, zinc sulfide, yttrium oxide, gadolinium oxide, and further formed to have thickness between 1 and 5μm, is laid on the fluorescent substance layer 2. Also, a protective film 4 is laid on the powder layer 3 and a radiation intensifying screen 5 is thereby formed.</p>
