PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aquatic pest organism-controlling agent which is useful for inhibiting the damage caused by adhesion and propagation of pest organisms to the surface of the underwater structures, for example, boats, fish nets, buoys, marine water-guiding pipes without environmental pollution by formulating specific components. SOLUTION: The objective aquatic pest organism-controlling agent contains at least one of polysulfides of formula I (R is an alkyl; R1 is an alkylene; (n) is 2-5; (m) and (p) are each 0 or 1; X is nitro, an alkyl, an alkoxy, a halogen, H; Y is nitro, a halogen; m+p is 1 or 2) and at least one selected from among polysulfides of formula II (R2 and R3 are independently an alkyl; (l) is 2-10) as active ingredients. The weight ratio of the compound of formula I to that of formula II is preferably 50/1-2/1. |
