PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image density unevenness like a horizontal streak, that is, banding caused by a defect in the precision of components or a mechanical vibration, at the time of obtaining an image by using an electrophotographic process. SOLUTION: A laser light is emitted according to a reference signal, to form a latent image on a photoreceptor 1, for the time except an actual printing time. This image forming device is provided with a photoreceptor detector 12 for detecting an image on the photoreceptor 1 and an intermediate transfer medium detector 13 for detecting the image on an intermediate transfer medium 7, to detect the image obtained by actualizing the latent image, on the photoreceptor 1 or the intermediate transfer medium 7. The difference between a detection signal and the reference signal is fed back to control the rotation of a photoreceptor motor 11 or a transfer medium motor 11. |
