PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an SOD-containing food capable of naturally taking SOD as an enzyme removing excess active oxygen said to be the most important cause of inducing a disorder of a human body, having an effect such as improvement of functions of various organs, prevention of various adult diseases, inhibition of growing senile, etc., and intimately aiming at the prevention of aging. SOLUTION: This SOD-containing food is exemplified as GMT-containing milk 1 which is produced by adding GMT 3 to milk 2. A GMT is an extract obtained by fermenting and extracting embryo of rice of soybean and the almost whole consists of 4wt.% of ash, 1.8wt.% of carbohydrate, 94.2wt.% of water and very small amounts of other protein, lipid, phosphorus, etc. The GMT 3 contains components capable of preventing various adult diseases and aging, etc., therefore, the GMT 3 can be taken in a natural state and the various adult diseases and aging are prevented by taking the GMT-containing milk 1 containing the GMT 3 as well in the same way as usual milk. |
