The circuit has at least one phase component which can be connected to a d.c. voltage source (1), two subsidiary converters (2) connected in series, each of which supplies one winding of a motor (3), and a series circuit of power semiconducting switches. The windings are connected in a star formation and the power semiconducting switches are protected by an interface network. The interface network for the first subsidiary converter is made mirror symmetrical to that of the second subsidiary converter. |
