The module (1) comprises a lower part (4) with an extrusion (8) for accepting a form-coded flat cable (9). Also provided are a casing upper part with a circuit board (6) and a contacting arrangement with contact pins (10) for contacting the flat cable. The lower part is provided as an installation plate (4), and the upper part is put together from at least two casing parts (2,3), allowing disassembly of the unit, in whose interior (5) the circuit board is removably held. The installation plate and the upper part comprise pivots (27, 29) adjusted to each other, which enable the upper part to be pivoted on the installation plate, enabling simultaneous penetration and contacting of the contact pins with the flat cable.
