The invention concerns a process and device for transferring freight, in particular from rail to rail, rail to road and rail to ship, transfer being effected between a rail vehicle and an unloading station by transverse sliding relative to the rail vehicle's direction of travel. The proposed process and device are characterized by the fact that an interchangeable floor (3) mounted on a rail vehicle (1) in such a way that it can slide transversely is used as the transfer unit, this unit sliding transversely during the transfer process between the rail vehicle (1) and a loading or unloading station (31). |
