An osteosynthesis implant, designed to connect two parts of a skeleton, is made from at least two components (105,106), each attached to one part of the skeleton, and a shock absorber between them which has a variable damping capacity and a lock to fix it in a given position. In one version of the implant, e.g. a bone screw, the shock absorber is in the form of a flexible section between the implant's two components, divided into two chambers (111,112) filled with a hydraulic fluid, such as silicone oil, and connected by channels (113,114) controlled by a valve (115). In another variant the shock absorber can have a chamber divided into two half chambers linked by a bellows.
|
