PURPOSE:To accelerate the decomposition of an org. binder in a degreased stage and to prevent uneven sintering by adding a prescribed amt. of the naphthenate of an alkaline earth metal or a rare earth element when AlN powder is mixed with a sintering aid and the org. binder. CONSTITUTION:When AlN powder is mixed with a sintering aid and an org. binder such as acrylic resin or polyvinyl butyral resin, the naphthenate of an alkaline earth metal or a rare earth element is added by 0.1-20 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. AlN. They are mixed and molded and the resulting molded body is degreased. In this degreasing stage, the decomposition of the binder is accelerated and uneven sintering and warping are prevented at the time of sintering the molded body. |
