<p>The present invention provides a process cartridge which can be removably mounted on a body of an image forming apparatus, comprising an electrophotographic photosensitive drum, a process means acting on the electrophotographic photosensitive drum, a cartridge frame, and projection means for maintaining a posture of the process cartridge when the process cartridge is mounted on the body of the image forming apparatus, the projection means projecting outwardly from both side surfaces of the cartridge frame substantially in the same direction as an axis of the electrophotographic photosensitive drum and being positioned above the electrophotographic photosensitive drum when the process cartridge is mounted on the body of the image forming apparatus.
