<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm operation of a tape top sensor and a tape end sensor as well as tape tension by forming a through hole of detecting light for detecting the tape top and the tape end in a detecting plate. SOLUTION: Strain gauges 39A and 39B are stuck on the detecting plate 37 in narrow parts above and below this through hole 37A respectively, and deformation is detected by these strain gauges 39A and 39B, so that tape tension is detected accordingly. Thus, stress is concentrated upon the narrow parts forming the through hole 37A in the detecting plate 37, and since there is the largest deformation on these parts, the detecting sesitivity of the tape tension is enhanced so much as compared with the conventional manner.</p> |
