FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to construction materials used in reinforced earth-structures of motor roads and railways, ground structures, bases and foundations of buildings, etc. This material improves operating characteristics of structures, increases their strength, filtering ability, and service life. Material has matrix 1 which is nonwoven needle-punched material, and reinforcing members 2 secured with matrix by means of thermoplastic glue 3. Reinforcing members 2 are located on matrix at constant pitch of Δ equal to 20-50 mm and secured with matrix under action of temperature and pressure. Used as reinforcing members are strips made of unidirectional roving glass-fibre braid which is preliminarily impregnated with thermoplastic glue. EFFECT: high efficiency. 5 dwgr
