PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for removing the foreign matter in a pipeline capable of efficiently removing the foreign matter in the pipeline with more powerful cutting power without damaging the inside surface of the pipeline existing in a normal position by holding a rotary cutter at the approximate center of the pipeline. SOLUTION: This device 1 for removing the foreign matter in the pipeline has a fluid pressure motor mounted with a cutter 5 at an output shaft and is constituted by mounting a prescribed guide roller 9 at a device body 2 via liquid pressure cylinders 6, 7 or a spring 8 to make this guide roller movable radially in the pipeline and to absorb the differences in level of the inside surface of the pipeline. The device has a mechanism for absorbing the differences in the level in the pipeline constituted by combining the guide roller 9 made movable radially in the pipeline by the liquid pressure cylinders 6, 7 or the spring 8 and a guide roller 10 fixed in the position. As a result, the center misalignment of the device body 3 is minimized and the cutter 5 is positioned at the approximate center of the pipe. The cutter is thus prevented from coming into contact with the inside surface of the pipeline and from damaging the inside surface of the pipeline. |
