PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily purchase with reservation a program having a broadcast time band different from those of the programs which are already purchased with reservation by carrying out the processing for purchase procedure of a designated chargeable program against the confirmed input showing that the program to be purchased has been changed to a displayed chargeable program. SOLUTION: If the broadcast time of a selected and designated program (PPV program) is not overlapping the broadcast time band of another program whose purchase procedure is already finished, a purchase procedure image is shown on a display 8. When a purchase procedure is carried out, this fact is stored. If a designated program is on the air, this program is televised via the display 8. If the broadcast time of the PPV program overlaps the time band of another program whose purchase procedure is already finished and the designated program is not an NVOD program, a 1st warning message image is shown on the display 8. When 'YES' button 21 is turned on the 1st warning screen, image for a purchase procedure is shown on the display 8.
