FIELD: manufacture of decorative articles. SUBSTANCE: invention consists in that, before artware glaze is applied upon the surface of ceramic, gypsum, or plastic tile, trapezoidal groove duplicating relief of picture is preliminarily made on that surface in which pattern is set up followed by placing dispersant therein, groove being formed to the depth 1-1.5 mm and base of trapezium corresponding to the following dependence: B = C + 1/2 C, where B is base of trapezium and C thickness of pattern.
