FIELD: medicine, juvenile surgery and clinical immunology. SUBSTANCE: blood monocytes adhered upon a slide are cultivated in four wells in a medium containing 10,15,30 and 60 mcg/ml hydroxyproline for 30 min in wet atmosphere which contains 5% CO<SB>2</SB> at 37 C, then amount of spread monocytes in all wells are counted and activation index of monocytic spreading is estimated according to a certain formula. The presence of adhesive process in peritoneal cavity is predicted at the value of 4.4-5.0, if the latter is higher well-spread adhesive process is detected, at low index values being 3.5-4.4 the absence of adhesive disease in peritoneum is stated upon. EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnostics in children after operation associated with destructive appendicitis.
