PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a steering mechanism which can save a space. SOLUTION: This connector is secured fixedly to a rubber member 1 to sandwich the rubber member 1 between a first flange 2 of a first sleeve 3 and a second flange 5 of a second sleeve 6. The first sleeve 3 has a sleeve part 17 formed on the inner peripheral surface 21 with a serration 20 engaging through the serration an inserted first shaft 23. The first flange 2 of the first sleeve 3 has holes 15, 16 formed to communicate holes 8, 10 for bolts of the rubber member 1. The first flange 2 is secured fixedly to the rubber member 1 by bolts 13, 14 inserted into holes 8, 10 for bolts to engage threadingly then threaded holes 15, 16 of the first flange. An end male screw part 25 of the first shaft 23 is secured fixedly to a sleeve part 17 by a nut 29 on the bottom surface 18A of a recess 18 in the sleeve part 17 opposed to the rubber member 1. |
