PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to efficiently and more accurately perform a method for discharging a two-part liquid and recording an image by which it is possible to make a coloring material insoluble on a medium into which data is recorded, without the necessity to scale up a device and set complicated recording conditions. SOLUTION: The liquid flow path of a liquid discharge head is divided into a first liquid flow path 14 communicating with a discharge aperture 18 and a second liquid flow path 16 with a movable member 31 facing a bubble generating area 11. In addition, the direction in which a bubble grows is controlled by the displacement of the movable member 31 for discharging a liquid droplet from the discharge aperture 18. Further, a combination of two different liquid for generating the insolubilization reaction of the coloring material which are mixed when discharged from the discharge aperture 18 are used as liquids to be supplied to the first liquid flow path 14 and the second liquid flow path 16.
