PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide plural functions, especially the functions of filtering images and calculating an image size, and to perform a high-speed processing by simultaneously fetching the one-row components of binary image data in the processing of the binary image data. SOLUTION: The output of selection circuits 1201-1206 is selected by control signals 1200 so as to respectively turn input to logical memory cells 1206-1210 to the output of an AND circuit 1216 and the output of the logical memory cells 1206 1209. When the data of the first column of the (i)-th row components of image data B are inputted to the logical memory cell 1210, the AND arithmetic results of the respective first-fifth rows of the (i)-th row components of the image data A and B are indicated in the output 1222-1226 to an image memory. At the time, when write to the outside is performed, a still image extracted result for one row of the two binary image data A and B is outputted. When the operation is performed relating to all the rows of the two binary image data A and B, the still image extraction of the two binary image data A and B is performed. |
