FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: alloy contains (in wt %): magnesium, 9.5-10.0; zinc, 1.5-1.9; manganese, 0.3-0.9; zirconium, 0.05-0.20; antimony, 0.20-0.35; aluminum, the balance. In its hardened and artificially aged state, alloy, preserving its corrosion resistance, exhibits elevated strength, stable mechanical properties when exploited, improved workability, and higher allowed temperature for products.
