CONTACT BLOCK OF ROTOR OF A C GENERATOR

FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: contact block of A.C. generator has shaft carrying rotor, slip-rings and current carrying buses connecting them to windings. Characteristic feature of invention lies in provision of contact block with insulation bushing made with blind grooves where finishes of current carrying buses are located forming monolithic unit together with slip-rings. Owing to specified characteristic feature contact block has simple technological structure, shows mechanical strength and provides for complete protection of current carrying buses against dust and dirt when A. C. generator operates. In addition contact block is used for orientation of fan and is secured against axial movement. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability. 3 dwg
