<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect no vacancy of the device even if a thin plate-like body is provided with a projection or deformed by alternately operating two set of light detecting means, and detecting no vacancy of the device when interception of light is detected at least by means of one light detecting means. SOLUTION: A card collecting device 20 is detected in a state of no vacancy, when interception of at least the one-side light of a first light 24a projected from a first light emitting element 24-1 into the card collecting device 20 and a second light 24b projected from a second light emitting element 24-2 into the card collecting device 20 is detected based on output of a first light receiving element 25-1 and a second light receiving element 25-2. Even when a gap is generated between the collected cards accumulated in the card collecting device 20, at least one of the first light 24a and the second light 24b is intercepted, and hence no vacancy of the card collecting device 20 can be surely detected.</p> |
