<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the shared use of a single digital filter with a switching between the expansion and reduction process modes by connecting a filter part to the next stage of a memory part in an image-expansion process mode and to the preceding stage of the memory part in an image reduction process mode respectively. SOLUTION: A memory control part 2 performs the write/read control of a memory part 1, consisting of a frame memory, etc. A filter part 3 performs a band limit process or an interpolation process of the supplied video signals. A 1st selection part 4 selects one of the inputted video signals and those video signals read out of the part 1 and outputs it to the part 3. A 2nd selection part 5 selects one of inputted video signals and those signals outputted from the part 3 and outputs it to the part 1. A 3rd selection part 6 selects and outputs one of those video signals, outputted from the part 3 and read out of the part 1. Then the part 3 is connected to the next stage and the preceding stage of the part 1 in an image-expansion and reduction process modes respectively.</p> |
