PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect software from copying by restricting a program capable of reading out a file from a software distributing recording medium. SOLUTION: When a reading request to a file 131b in a recording medium 131 is issued, an operating system 121 collates key information specified by a user program based on the reading request with key information set up as the attribute information of a corresponding file and judges the validity/ invalidity of file reading based on the collated result. Thereby a file reading request from a program 131a previously including the key information of the corresponding file registered in a file management table 131c and capable of issuing the key information at the time of receiving the file reading request is permitted but a file reading request from other programs can not be received. |
