PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator, promoting cooling effect by quick cooling operation and reducing noise generated by the operation of a compressor, a ventilating fan and an air circulating fan, in a refrigerator provided with a fan for ventilating cold air into a freezing chamber and a refrigerating chamber forcibly as well as the air circulating fan for averaging the temperature distribution in the refrigerating chamber. SOLUTION: The cooling in a quick cooling zone 34 can be promoted and noise, generated by the operation of a compressor and an air circulating fan 31, can be reduced by a method wherein the quick cooling zone 34 is provided so as to be faced to an air discharging port 33 and the number of rotation of the air circulating fan 31 is changed in accordance with the rotation condition of the compressor 22 upon quick cooling operation by a number of rotation switching means 44, controlling the number of rotation of the air circulating fan 31. |
