PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a calibration device by which the offset and the gain of a neutron-flux amplifier are calibrated automatically. SOLUTION: A switch 32 is changed over to the operation side, a switch 34 is changed over to the calibration side, an offset calibration signal (a) and a gain calibration signal (d) are input sequentially to a calibration-signal generation circuit 20 from a processor 24, and signals which are input to a neutron- flux-signal input circuit 22 via the switch 34 without the intermediary of an amplifier 16 are converted into digital signals so as to be input as an offset- calibration input signal (b) and a gain calibration input signal (e). Then, the switch 32 is changed over to the calibration side, the switch 34 is changed over to the operation side, and the offset calibration signal (a) and the gain calibration signal (d) are output sequentially to the calibration-signal generation circuit 20 from the processor 24. The offset calibration signal (a) and the gain calibration signal (d) are amplified respectively by the amplifier 16 so as to be input to a neutron-flux-signal input circuit 22 via the switch 34, and they are input to the processor 24 as an offset-calibration amplifier signal (c) and a gain-calibration amplification signal (f).
