PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closing controller of a shutter which is improved in safety, by accurately coping with an abnormality brought about in the closing motion of the shutter, under the abnormality-discrimination base preset in the initial time and executing the treatment after the abnormality while manually closing the shutter. SOLUTION: In (S10), a decision means judges a shutter motion as an abnormality because a detected value exceeds the abnormalitydiscrimination base D preset in the initial time. In (S11), when it is judged as the first time, a renewal means instructs (S12) to stop a motor and renews the abnormality- discrimination base from D to D+α(S13). Thereafter, the motor stops as long as the closing drive switch is not pushed. But, when it is judged that the shutter 2 has been closed by an operator, in (S15) the motor starts (S5) to close the shutter and when it is judged that the shutter has reached the closed state, in (S2) the abnormalitydiscrimination base D+αis returned (S18) to D preset in the initial time by the changing means and the motor is suspended (S7).
