PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely authenticate a specific user by sending answer information from an information medium to an information supply source an collating the answer information from the information medium at the information supply source. SOLUTION: The information supply source 2 once receiving communication request information 7 from a user's terminal 1 sends information 8 for authentication confirmation to the user's terminal 1. Once the user's terminal 1 receives the information 8, the information is transferred to a card reader 4 connected to the terminal 1 through a connection cable 6. When a user's card 6 is mounted on this card reader 4, specific answer information 9 corresponding to the inputted information 8 for authentication confirmation is sent to the information supply source 2 through the user's terminal 1. The information supply source 2 collates the inputted answer information 9 and sends communication enabling information 10 to the user's terminal right after authenticating and confirming the user. |
