PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus having a simple structure and capable of easily and efficiently applying two-dimensional small. permanent waves having gentle curvature on apices to a steel wire. SOLUTION: Gears 4a, 4b having mutually intermeshing tooth parts are fixed to a pair of supporting shafts rotatably supported on a frame 1. Disks 6a, 6b are fixed coaxially to the shafts of the gears 4a, 4b. A number of wave- forming pins 8a, 8b protruding in the direction perpendicular to the rotational direction are attached to the circumference parts of the disks 6a, 6b at prescribed intervals in such a manner as to stagger the phases of the pins to alternately position the pins of the disks at the closest position. |
