FIELD: mechanical engineering; welding of sectional outgoing pipes on large diameter pipelines. SUBSTANCE: spindle 1 with chuck plate 2 is mounted on base. Slewing ring 4 is mounted on base support rollers 3. Frame 5 is secured by one side on chuck plate 2 and by other side, on ring 4 coaxial with chuck plate. Bow shaped slider 7 is secured on frame for angular displacement. Outgoing pipe attachment unit is made in form of housing 13 with holder 15 with clamps for article secured on end of slider. Relative position of device members provides perpendicularity of geometric axes of angular displacement of slider and turning of holder relative to housing.
