METHOD FOR STRAIGHTENING MOVING ROLLED PIECE AND ROLLER MACHINE FOR PERFORMING THE SAME

FIELD: torque free straightening of rolled strips. SUBSTANCE: at continuously straightening moving rolled piece sign-variable efforts are applied to said rolled piece. Said efforts are applied in staggered fashion in the same plane and they are directed normally relative to surface of bent rolled piece. When leading end of rolled piece attaches point of applying last straightening effort, rolled piece is rotated together with applied efforts relative to straightening plane by angle whose value is equal to angle between direction of last effort of straightening process and line normal relative to direction of outlet of material out off straightening zone. Machine for straightening rolled piece includes upper and lower rollers mounted on frame in staggered fashion. Upper rollers are mounted with possibility of reciprocation motion. Said frame may be rotated relative to axis parallel to roller rotation axis. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of method, improved design of apparatus. 2 cl, 4 dwg
