PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a brushless DC motor by reducing the height of the endless coils of stator windings by winding the stator windings in a plurality of stages in the slots of a stator. SOLUTION: A plurality of stator windings 10a and 10b are wound in two stages in the slots 2 of a stator 1 and the para-turns of the windings 10a and 10b are constituted by halving the para-turn to be wound in one stage in each slot 2, namely, the para-turn for each stator winding 10a and 10b in each stage is constituted as the half of the para-turn to be wound in one stage. Therefore, the transitions of the windings 10a and 10b can be shortened in a low-voltage largecurrent brushless DC motor and, accordingly, the size of the motor can be reduced by making the space factors of the windings 10a and 10b larger. In addition, the rotating property of the motor can be improved. |
