PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent looseness between a socket and a plug with tensile force by forming a locking member with a locking portion, an engagement portion and a connection so that the locking portion can be locked to one side of a cord connector and the engagement portion can be engaged with the other side. SOLUTION: A locking member 1 is easily manufactured in a simple structure by bending a rigid wire. A locking portion 1a bent in a ring shape is provided at one end and an engagement portion 1b bent in aΩ-shape is provided at the other end so that the portion 1a can be connected to the portion 1b with a connection 1c. In this case, the portion 1b is engaged to a cord 5 on a socket 6 side, the width on the opening side is smaller than the diameter of the cord 5 so that both fitting each other can be hardly loosened but can be demounted with the rigidity of the member 1 and the elasticity of the cord 5. When the portion 1a is inserted and locked into the cord 9 and the portion 1b is engaged with the cord 5, a cord connector formed with a socket 6 and a plug 10 are held at both sides by the portion 1a and the portion 1b not to be movable to the direction of looseness and the cord is locked by tensile force.
