PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal separation method by which the optimum degree of separation and purification is attained and damage on particle separation is prevented. SOLUTION: A sample 26 to be classified is introduced into a centrifugal separation vessel 1 through a cannula 5. Next, a density gradient solution 7 whose density is increased continuously or gradually step by step is introduced through the cannula 5 to move particles from the sample 26 into the gradient density solution 7 by either of equilibrium centrifugal separation and sedimentation centrifugal separation. After prescribed centrifugal separation time, pressure fluid is introduced into the closed centrifugal separation vessel 1 through the other cannula 17 to discharge the density-gradient solution containing classified particles of the sample 26 through the cannula 5. |
