FIELD: plastic metal working, namely manufacture of cone hollow parts such as retainers of cone bearings. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of separating initial band or strip by square blanks whose angles are rounded by circle arc with radius R=(0,1-0,15)B, where B - side of square; subjecting said square blank to drawing and punching, trimming angles by means of punch. In order to increase height of drawn cone, drawing is performed through die with variable rounding radius of edge of drawing hole. Angles of said square blank are placed onto portions with larger rounding radius. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 4 dwgs |
